Coach’s Corner

Take a minute to meet your driving coach

Tamara

Glad you dropped in for a speed read…the only speeding allowed around here

I am proud to say that I have taught hundreds of students to drive through one of the largest drive schools in Simcoe County. I am passionate about teaching, and with my combined classroom instruction and experience coaching in car, I have so many refined tips and tricks to share.

My mission as your coach

I always saw myself as a coach rather than an instructor. I am always routing for my students as their coach; I’m on their side for success, not only to pass their road test but to instill a grounding that will keep them safe for life.

I teach with a strength-based learning concept which allows a student to process their own thoughts, and connect the skills and techniques. I provide a safe and confidential space to foster a wonderful learning experience.

My ride

I drive a bright white Kia Soul and my students report that they like the fact they sit up higher and there is plenty of viewing. The vehicle comes equipped with dual brakes, extra instructor mirrors, air conditioning, heated seats, mirrors and even steering wheel. The nice thing about the Kia Soul is the seats can be adjusted to fit just about anyone.

My vision for the drive school

It’s all about the people…so at the beginning, I simply set out to provide an amazing job for myself doing what a I enjoy doing. Intentionally designed to have limited workloads, with time for life’s good times, and bring the best refreshed energy to fully engage with my students. Have the flexibility to make things work out.
